Available Bath Salt and *Soap* Fragrances

*No flowers or herbs added to the soaps, except for salt, oatmeal, avocado (when available) and vanilla*

**Why I don't put most herbs in my Melt and pour soaps:    Because Melt and Pour  Glycerin soap has a tendency to draw moisture out of the air and  into the bar of soap, and is never totally dry, it causes flower, seed and plant  pieces that are already moist  to turn brown.   Not  harmful, but  just does not  look very nice.**

Eucalyptus = Clean, camphoric but not overly strong fragrance. Ground up eucalyptus leaves are used in the bath salts.

Lavender Fields = It evokes memories of "the old days" having a clean, yet musky fragrance.  Finely ground Lavender buds are used in the bath salts along with the Essential and Fragrance Lavender oils with just a hint of lilac Essential/Fragrance oils.

Lemon Grass w/ Real Lemon Grass = A warm lemony-grassy fragrance that puts me in mind of thatched huts on a tropical island.  Finely ground Lemon Grass and Essential/Fragrance oils used in the bath salts.

Lemon Verbena = A light, sweet lemony smell, a favorite of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House on the Prairie book series.  Essential/fragrances used only.

Manly Man Sage = A very masculine, smoky fragrance, evoking memories of campfires and powwows.  The sage herb is finely ground and used in the bath salts, and can either be made with or without the Essential/Fragrance oils.  Sage soap made with  Essential/Fragrance oils only.

Old Fashioned Rose = The more "traditional" rose scent with a deeper note of thyme.  In the salts, actual ground up roses are used to both decorate the bath salts and add to the fragrance.

Patchouli = A very earthy, musky scent with a hint of sweetness.  Both the herb and the Essential oil are used in the bath salts.

Peppermint = Smells like peppermint candy in my Melt and Pour soaps; somewhat milder, yet clean smell in the bath salts.  Bath Salts uses finely ground peppermint herb and the Essence and Fragrance oils.  A very good deodorizer for bath and hands.

Spearmint = Not as strong as peppermint, not as sweet-smelling as the sweet rose fragrance, but more of a "green," warmer smell. It smells clean but not overly sweet or as tangy as peppermint. A good deodorizer, but not as good as peppermint.

Sweet Cedars = This is a very warm, sweet, somewhat spicy smell, combining aromatic cedar and cedar leaves and different Essential and fragrance oils, which are finely ground., then recombined into the basic bath salt recipe.

Sweet Rose = Smells clean and sweet, with a small bit of rose fragrance.  Essential/Fragrance oils used only in Melt and Pour Soap.

Sweetgrass = Smells faintly of sweet mown grass.  No Essential or Fragrance oils added to the bath salts as of yet, but finely ground Sweetgrass only is added to the basic bath salt recipe.

Tirzah's Lilacs = Smells a lot like lilac bushes at Grandma's house. Not overly lilacky, but not sickly sweet either.  Toned down with a dash of lavender.

Vanilla Dreams = Smells just like cooking vanilla, just a little milder.  In my Melt and Pour soaps, it smells like baby shampoo.  The bath salts have actual ground up vanilla beans in them - shell and all.  The Melt and Pour soaps has just the tiny seeds in the suspension formula Melt and Pour. One of the best hand deodorizers in soaps.
